KOZI KIDZ:

Established in 2007, Kozi Kidz has now become one of the fastest growing children’s brands in Europe providing children with designs that are both colourful and stylish as well as highly functional.  Kozi Kidz offers a complete collection of outdoor wear from base layers to wind and waterproof outer layers and is available in 26 countries through ca. 200 outlets.  Based in the UK (Yorkshire) the company also currently has agents in the UK, Ireland, Scotland, Southern England, Iceland and the Czech Republic.

The Kozi Kidz philosophy is all about allowing children to enjoy playing outside whatever the weather. The collection includes items that children will love and want to wear, whilst still conforming to stringent safety regulations.  The brand is Swedish designed with emphasis on performance and weather protection but remaining true to style and colour trends.   Tomas and Linda have extensive experience in international business and marketing, and their goal is to work with customers to build strong, long term business relationships and to grow Kozi Kidz into a favourite and trusted brand name for outdoor children’s wear around the world!

 

THE FOUNDERS

Linda Kennedy Torstensson
Marketing and Co-Managing Director

Having graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree from Birmingham University Linda went on to carve
out a successful Marketing career, working with established brands such as Guinness, Tonka/Hasbro, IBM, Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios and Dreamworks before taking time out to build a family. It was whilst working with Universal and Paramount that her career took her to Sweden where
she met her now husband and business partner Tomas.

 

Tomas Torstensson
Sales and Co-Managing Director

Tomas’ career spans over 20 years in the Film and Media world, (except for a brief  interlude with Procter and Gamble helping to establish their Eukanuba brand in the Nordic region).  This includes working with and for most of the major names in the industry.   In  1999 he was headhunted to Universal Studios to help them establish their Nordic office before being approached to join Paramount  Pictures as Nordic Manging Director in 2004.  During the 3 years to 2007 at at time when industry revenues were beginning to fail Thomas steered Paramount through a period of impressive growth before leaving at the end of 2007 to establish his own company in the UK together with his wife Linda.
